This hat was born by accident, I wanted something simple to knit and fancied making a slouchy hat, so I just cast on and knit away. It wasn’t until I had finished the hat and went to put it on my head that I discovered the proportions had worked out perfectly for it to be both a slouchy hat and a beanie.

A few people had contacted me asking for a pattern so I thought I would go ahead and write it up for anyone who is interested.
