The Bear Among the Aspens Blanket was created by popular request from my Deer Among the Aspens Blanket! So many of you loved the original design and asked to see a bear among the aspens—and I couldn’t resist bringing this majestic woodland scene to life.

The bear is crocheted right into the blanket using color changes, creating the image directly within the fabric. No appliqués or pieces to sew on!

This design uses my signature color-changing crochet technique, making it possible to create a beautiful nature-inspired scene directly as you crochet.

• 2,850 yards of heavier worsted weight yarn in 2 colors (exact amounts of each color are provided in the pattern file)
• Size K/3/6.50 mm crochet hook
