There are currently two versions available for download when you purchase this pattern. The one labelled V1 is the original bonnet pattern. The one labelled V2 contains a new style ‘fur’ which is quicker to work (but maybe not quite as sturdy) for photo props.

Please note the ears are different to some of those worked by the testers.

The simple bear bonnet can be made from a variety of yarns, in sizes from small newborn to 2 years of age.

You will need:

• approximately 300m yarn - double knit, 8ply, Aran, worsted weight or light chunky are recommended although yarns will work with varying results.

• an appropriately sized hook for your chosen yarn

• a wool needle for finishing.
