This pattern is great for beginners with more experience, and up.

You will need approximately 2 balls of cotton yarn in main color. 1 ball of cotton yarn in brown and black. You will also need a small mount of white cotton thread. You DO NOT have to use the same brand of cotton I used as long as it is the same ply.

Gauge is not very important with this pattern as long as your tension is consistent.
