Beate Blouse
Beate Blouse is a sweet and feminine top knitted in an open lace pattern with a simple, long-sleeved T-shirt-style silhouette. The combination of the clean shape and the intricate lace makes the blouse both elegant and effortlessly relaxed.
Beate Blouse is worked top-down. The piece begins with a provisional cast-on, allowing stitches to be worked in both directions.
First, the upper back is knitted flat. Then each front shoulder is worked separately, shaping the neckline along the way. The fronts are then joined at the center. After reaching the underarm, the front and back are joined, and the body is worked in the round down to the hem. The sleeve stitches are picked up directly from the armholes and worked in the round.
The blouse is finished with an i-cord bind-off.
