Beatrix
Beatrix is a classic raglan pullover made with super fluffy yarn, giving it a funky and retro vibe.
The sweater is cast on the top and the neckline shaping is worked flat before joining in the round to complete the raglan shaped body. Sleeves are knit in the round from the underarm to the cuff. Beatrix looks great with long, ¾, or short sleeves!
While Beatrix will look great in any yarn, the amazing softness and fluff of Knit Picks Upcycle Suri (or other similar yarns) absolutely elevates this sweater. I don’t do this often, but I really encourage you to make this in the recommended yarn for the fluffiest, most fabulous results!
In addition, Beatrix is knit at relatively loose gauge, which Upcycle Suri supports beautifully, creating a lightweight fabric that allows the yarn to shine.
