DESIGN
Written pattern for a voluminous statement cowl in the design of a bow tied with a contrast striped ribbon like band.

Knitted in two separate parts:

Part one, the main cowl is a plump aran weight fisherman’s rib. Knitted flat and seamed. The seam will be scrunched and hidden under the ribbon.

Part two, fingering weight linen stitch ribbon that can be made from mini skeins or precious leftovers. Knitted flat, wrapped around the cowl and seamed shut.

Printable chart included to help plan ribbon colours.
