A shower of dots cascade down these elegantly textured socks, creating an impression of raindrops gently falling.

Featuring a boomerang heel worked with German short rows, and a stitch pattern by Ann Kingstone that uses her clever centred double increase, these are a great project for intermediate level knitters. Knit in the round, from the top down.

Sized to fit 20cm/8in (24cm/9.5in, 28cm/11in) ankle circumferences. The socks are designed with approximately 2.5cm/1in of negative ease built in.

The pattern requires up to 400m/436yds of 4 ply sock yarn. The pictured sample used a 100g skein of Sparkleduck Galaxy sock yarn in Neptune.
