OLIS is a detailed pattern for a bedspread made in separate motifs which are sewn together.
The pattern presents a chart for the square motive, written instructions for each line and instructions for the border (optional element). Video-instructions for sewing the pieces together.

One size: 270 x 220 cm 8.85x7.2 ft including the border.
Yarn: Lotus by Kirov Yarn Mills (100% cotton; 250m per 100g 273 yds/3.5 oz), - 50 skeins (without the border), which corresponds to a total of 12500 m 13670 yds of DK weight cotton yarn.
For a 20 cm 8” border you will need 5-7 skeins 1365-1911 yds more.
Gauge: 6 rows and 6 cells (1 dc+2 ch) = 5 x 5 cm 2x2”
1 square motive is 50 x 50 cm 19.6x19.6” after blocking. Total 20 squares for the project.

Hook: 1.5mm US 8 steel or any to obtain gauge.
A matching tapestry needle to sew the motifs together.
