Bee Bread, which also refers to the nutritious pollen mixture curated and packed away by bees, is a recipe for some simple and cute fingerless mittens.
They feature a hexagonal honeycomb pattern along the top of the hand, which was inspired by this rich honey-coloured sock yarn I had tucked in my stash.

The sample is shown in size Small on my own hands, which are quite small for an adult woman. The size would be suited to teens and petite adults, and I’ve included sizes Medium and Large, which include an extra chart repeat once and twice, respectively, to add some width to the mitten for larger hands.
These mittens are knit from the bottom up, and extra pattern repeats can be added as needed to achieve the desired length.

While the suggested yarn is an all-time favourite of mine, you may use whatever sock yarn you fancy, adjusting needle size to fit gauge.
