According to the internet, a group of geese on the ground is called a gaggle. If a group is on the water they are called a plump. In the air they can be called a wedge, a team, or a skein. How perfect for knitters to work on a sweater with a skein!

I had a lot of fun designing these funny little geese. I started with the idea of them in raincoats but feared they might be a bit too whimsical so I created a second choice with buttercups. My fear of being too whimsical means you get a 2 for 1 pattern!

This sweater is knit top down in the round using DK yarn. The sweater has a stranded yoke, hem, and sleeve cuffs. The beak(s) can be duplicate stitched in a different colour and there are a couple of sections of three colours per round. Take it slow and keep your floats loose.

This pattern has 10 sizes to choose from. Finished chest circumferences: 32 (36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 68) inches/ 80 (90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170) cm

This sweater is designed to fit with 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) of positive ease. It is shown on a model with 4 inches (10 cm) of positive ease and as an oversized pullover with approximately 14 inches (35) cm) of positive ease.
