Perfect socks for in tall boots or over shorty boots!

Have you ever wanted to try knitting an afterthought heel? If so this is the perfect pattern for you. Bee’s Basic Ribbed Socks are toe up with an afterthought heel. This pattern does not require you to cut your sock.

There are a couple of reasons why I love toe up socks. The first is the fit, I always find the afterthought heel has a little more give and is therefore more comfortable. The second is that I don’t have to worry about running out of yarn halfway up the second sock. I recommend splitting your Crazy Zauberball into two smaller balls of equal weight and knitting your socks at the same time one from each ball. This way you can make them as long as you like.

Happy Knitting!
