bees knees
Each hexagon is worked on its own and knit back and forth in garter stitch.
Techniques used are garter stitch and decreases (K2TOG / CDD).
It’s a modular knit, so you can carry it around with you easily. You use the ends to sew up the hexagons at the end.
If you have a lot of yarns to use up, this would be a great pattern. If you didn’t have a gradient set like colour theory, you could just pick two contrasting colours to make each hexagon and then arrange them in a pleasing layout.
Jamieson and Smith yarns would be a good fit for this project, as they have such a wide colour range.
The gauge can be anything you like, as long as you have enough yarn. The pattern comes with a test gauge pattern, and as long as you have 45 amounts of that yarn, you’ll be fine.
This pattern also comes with help videos.
