Beetlejuice is a light and airy shawl that features combination of simple lace and a delicate picot border. The shawl is knitted bottom-up and a simple crochet border with little picots is done afterwards. Beetlejuice shawl uses only 1 skein of fingering weight yarn and will look lovely in both solid and variegated yarns. A second accent color can be added for the border. The shawl is reversible.

Finished Size
After blocking, the sample shawl measures 176 cm (69 inches) long along the top edge and 76 cm (30 inches) deep. You can easily make your shawl smaller or bigger. Keep in mind that shawl will grow significantly in size after blocking due to a lot of yarn overs in the pattern.

Gauge
The gauge in the lace pattern after blocking measures 11 sts x 21 rows in 10 cm x 10 cm.

Yarn
1 skein of Shukumei Fingering by INJI Kismet Fibers, Fingering / 4 ply (70% Merino, 30% Silk) 439 yards (402 m)/ 100 grams in colorway Beetlejuice.
