Happy valentrunk!

I made this adorable elephant for Valentine’s Day and I wanted to share the pattern for free to spread some extra love ❣️

It is beginner friendly and takes approximately 90 minutes to make with a few materials. It is a low sew project (only needed for the head and ears)

The plush is 5 inches wide x 4 inches long using a 3.5mm hook and 8 ply chenille velvet yarn. You can use any yarn and colours you prefer, you may need to change the hook size depending on the yarn you use.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 16 rows (10cm)

Materials:

• 3.5mm hook
• pink and red 8 ply chenille yarn (you can use any colours and yarn you like)
• white scrap yarn
• 2mm safety eyes or you can use black yarn
• 3 inch wire
• fabric glue or hot glue
• filling
• tapestry needle
• stitch marker
• pins

CH - chain
SC - Single Crochet
ST - Stitch
FL - Front loops
DEC - Decrease
INC - increase
SL ST - Slip Stitch
MC - Magic Circle
