The Sampler Scarf is intended to be a fun, beginner
project that gets you comfortable with chains, single
crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, techniques to
do different patterns and some light pattern reading.
It makes for a great first project that gives you a practical result to wear and
show off your new skills! You will learn about the structure and design of basic
pattern stitches and how they differ. You will notice the many differences in each
stitch as you crochet and will discuss those variances briefly in each section
heading but for more in-depth explanations we recommend scheduling a lesson.
