This simple, first lace scarf uses knit on both the wrong and right side giving a beautiful texture to the piece. The right side is knitted in the simple repeat pattern and the wrong side is just knit across.

The pattern does not require a specific guage and can be knitted in thicker yarns on larger needles.

Yarn used in picture is handspun alpaca and milk laceweight 2 ply in purple, about 500 yds (this make a VERY LONG scarf!)

Yarn: cobweb to fingering
Needles: 7-9 us (depending on yarn)
skills: cast on, knit, knit 2 together, yarn over, bind off
