This pattern uses the 3 basic stitches (UK chain, double crochet and treble crochet to make a simple unicorn with a flowing mane and a 3D horn. It is a very quick project suitable for recent beginners. This pattern includes a photo tutorial and a written pattern. The photo tutorial has both left and right handed images.

This is not a toy, do not give the final product to children as the eyes and mane may become loose.

You will need:

  • 8mm hook
  • 15 m super chunky/ super bulky yarn
  • 4 x 2 m of double knit yarn in your chosen mane colours
  • 5 m of double knit sparkle yarn
  • 2 x 2 cm googly eyes
  • yarn needle
  • hot glue to fix eyes
