The pattern has instructions for both toe up and cuff down socks. Instructions are written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles.

S (56 sts), M (64 sts) and L (72 sts)

Yarn

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 400 m/ 437 yds per 100 g. The sample socks were knitted with Filcolana Arwetta Classic (80% Merino, 20% Nylon) in colourway 977 Marzipan, 210 m/ 230 yds per 50 g.

2.75 mm/ US 2 circular needle (80 cm/ 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge

tapestry needle for weaving in ends

36 sts x 48 rows = 10x10 cm/ 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking
