This is a very easy and quick pattern for a drawstring bag. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarns(synthetic yarn; worsted weight) and an H (5mm) hook, however you can use any yarn of your choice(with appropriate size hook).

Keep in mind thicker yarns will aid a bigger bag and smaller/thinner yarns will make a smaller bag.You can also adjust the size by adding more increase rounds to make it bigger, less increase rows to make it smaller.

This pattern includes how to make a crochet tie for the bag; however i also show how to use ribbon. You can use anything for the tie as long as it’s small enough to fit in the space between the double crochet stitches. I feature a video tutorial with this pattern as well. I hope you guys enjoy!

Magic ring
Hdc stitch
Dc stitch
Chaining and slip stitch(for the tie)
