Bell Blouse is a simple tunic with a slight A-line shape, 3/4 length sleeves and an edge of decorative bells around the entire bottom edge. The blouse is worked from the top down and mostly in the round. Worked with 1 strand of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair - the result will be warm and soft, and perfect for fall and winter. However, worked with 2 strands of either Pure Silk or Cotton Merino instead makes it more suitable for summer. Please note that we do not recommend Soft Silk Mohair in any knitted projects where the recipient is under 1 year old. The reason being that any mohair fibers that are shed, might be uncomfortable for babies if they get them in their mouth or nose.

You start working the first part of the yoke back and forth to create the back opening. Afterwards, you continue in the round to the underarms where sleeve stitches are placed on hold to be worked after the body has been completed. The length of Bell Blouse can easily be adjusted by adding or removing stockinette rounds between each increase round on the body. I-cord edges finish the sleeves and neckband, and the back neck opening is closed with a button and a crochet loop.
