The Bella Bralette is a sexy, flirty beachy top with lace edges and a stringed gusset. It is based on what were called string bikini tops in the 1970s, but it can be a simple pure cotton top for festivals as well.

This version is designed for the twenty-something or adult teen set, I had that in mind as I was designing, but truly anyone can make this for themselves. It could be lingerie? It could be a bikini top, it could be a soft bra for casual, yet colorful summer days. I have used Catona and Catona Denim to make the sample. You will need four balls. The central triangle was a 50 gram ball, and the trim edges 3 more colors from 25 gram balls. You will have leftover yarn for friendship bracelets!

Catona by Scheepjes is available at Wool Warehouse in the UK, as yarn by mail. Wait until you see all the gorgeous colors and the price!

You will need a 3mm hook.
