About the Blouse

Bella Notte Blouse Light gets its name from the cute and elegant Bella Notte from the all time classic animated movie, Lady and the Tramp. It has reversable construction, where one side is slightly higher than the other, to make it more usable as well as inclusive, so even if low cut isn’t your style Bella Notte is for you. The difference between this and the Bella Notte Blouse is the gauge, the fit being slightly tighter and the back being slightly higher.
It is knitted top-down by first constructing the shoulders using a wedge shoulder and german short-rows to shape it. Thereafter one side of the sweater is closed and worked down until the sleeves and eventually the other side, the low-cut side, is closed as well. As the body is worked decreases are made to create waist shaping, whereafter you have the choice of two different cast offs depending on your preferred look.

Size Guide
The Bella Notte Blouse is constructed with a negative ease between –5 to – 15. This is done to create a tight fitted Blouse as knitted fabrics are very stretchable. If you choose too big of a size, you will not get the same tight fit, therefore if you have a chest circumference of 103 cm size 5 is recommended, as it would give a negative ease of -13 cm. The sleeve is constructed with a small negative ease to keep the shoulders in place.
