Bella Vista PDF Sock knitting Pattern

in multiple sizes (xs/sm/med/lge)

Magic Loop 2-AAT Toe Up socks Fingering weight yarn/ 4ply/ 14wpi

Best yarns to use are cotton for summer (as I did) or a wool / nylon (wool / polyamide) mix. Colours are your choice, however the pattern shows up best if the yarn colouring itself is not too busy. Plain one colour, gradient. as does self striping work wonderfully.

with two types of heel (Twisted Knit Stitch or normal stockinette Fleegle Heel) this heel is good for high insteps as it is rather stretchy.
The PDF has pattern charts as well as written out instructions for all sizes

Not included are descriptions of cast on or off ( I used Judy’s magic cast on and her super stretchy cast off). Turkish is also easy

In the photo I used a summer yarn: “Superba” Cotton Stretch (I think it’s from Rico) with 41% Cotton, 39% Wool, 13% Polyamid and 7% Elastin

Materials: Yarn: 150-400 yds fingering-weight yarn (amount of yarn needed depends on length of cuff).
If working two socks at one time, separate yarn into two balls of equal yardage.
Gauge: 7 sts/in 10 rows stockinette blocked.
Needles: 1 or 2 40-inch circular needle(s) OR set of DPNs, in whatever size required for YOU to obtain gauge. I used US 1/ 2.25mm What kind of needles you require depends on how you prefer to knit in the round. I prefer magic loop, which requires one circular needle ( I use 150cm length as this can be used for two large socks even dk weight yarn, as well as for shawls)
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors.
