The pattern contains 7 sizes and includes length suggestions for making shorties, capris or longies. I’ve also included some pictures of a few techniques I use in the pattern.

Other materials: For newborn size, I use a 12 inch circular needle. For all other sizes I use a 16 inch circular needle. You will also need a tapestry needle, stitch markers, and a measuring tape. The crochet hook is used only to help pick up stitches for the legs.

Techniques used: kitchener stitch, m1 increase, i-cord, kfab, yo, k2tog, k and p.

Knitpicks Wool of the Andes and Cascade 220 are my go-to yarns for longies. Any worsted weight, non-superwash yarn will work wonderfully!
