While I was knitting this pattern, I was always amazed when I took it outside in the daylight: the colors became warm and creamy. That’s why I decided to name it Belle de jour (beauty of the day).

In addition to the pattern, you will need the following materials to knit this shawl:

LAINE LOUISE ROBERT – GRANOLA (70% merino, 30% chanvre; 300 m / 100g skein)

Yellow version:
COLOR A – VAN GOGH : 1 skein.
COLOR B – CANEVAS : 1 skein.
COLOR C – BONHEUR D’OCCASION : 1 skein.

Burgundy version:
COLOR A - OMBRAGE: 1 skein
COLOR B - METAL: 1 skein
COLOR C - CHARDON: 1 skein

NEEDLES : Circular needle of 3.5 mm (this shawl is worked flat but requires a circular needle to support the increasing number of stitches throughout the project).

GAUGE : 19 stitches = 10 cm; 4 in after blocking.

FINAL SIZE : 152 cm; 60” (measured at the widest point) by 38 cm; 15” (measured at the deepest point)
