Some mornings in Chicago, I will walk to Belmont Harbor near where I work and spend time on the beach with my knitting. The view of Lake Michigan puts me in a calm state of mind as I soak up the sun during the warm days. It puts me in the mood to knit some of the designs in my head, including this project. BELMONT HARBOR is a garter stitch shawl full of fun eyelets, and uses a single skein of Madelinetosh Merino Light and five Unicorn Tails in a gradient fashion for a quick and easy shawlette. If you have a few scraps in your stash, see what unique color combos you can come up with, or knit it in just two colors. Either way, you will be left with a fun and stylish knit!
