Y2K / indie sleaze statement chain belt with pearls for festival

This crochet pattern contains instruction with step-by-step on how to make the pop tab belt.

All the instructions are made in English (US).

Level: beginner.

To create such crochet aluminium waistband you shall know how to make:

CH - chain stitch,
SlSt - slip stitch,
SC - single crochet.

MATERIALS and TOOLS you will need to chain sash:

• Pop tabs (soda can/pull tabs), 160 pieces;
• Any polyester or polypropylene cord with glitter, 2-2.5 mm, 65 yards (50 m). In this project, I used PP Macrame Glitter cord;
• Crochet hook, 3 mm;
• Any buckle, 30-35 mm;
• Chain with snap hooks for decoration (optional), 16” (40 cm);
• Scissors;
• Lighter.
