This cozy statement cardigan is as comfortable puttering around at home as it is walking around town. Knitted in luxuriant mohair-merino blend Crane, Belvedere’s carefully crafted stitch patterns create a dance of light along its haloed surface. Frances’ thoughtful design includes tips on how to lengthen or shorten the body and sleeves, as well as instructions for placing the buttonholes on either side of the front opening, making this classic design easy to customize for the wearer.

construction
The cardigan is knitted flat from the bottom up in one piece, splitting for the armholes and then grafted at the shoulders. The sleeves are knit flat from the cuff up and seamed into place. Instructions are provided for button placement on either the left or the right of the body.
