BEREN is semi-circular colorwork shawl. There is no stranding - you work with just one color in every row.
Techniques used:
garter, and slipped stitches (mosaic knitting).
You can use up to 5 colors.
I used three: 70 g of white, 40 g of each brown and green.
The prototype is 145 cm wide, and drops 56 cm. I used US size 5 needle for garter and slipped stitches. You might need larger needles for the colorwork, as it is denser and doesn’t stretch as much as garter.
