Berenice is a top-down sweater with a rounded neckline and a yoke featuring stranded color work, where both yarns are carried along the entire round. The two light versions are made in size M, while the brown one is in size S. The neckband can be customized and turned into a crew neck if desired: after picking up the stitches, continue with the neck instructions (which include some decreases), then keep working in ribbing until the desired height. As for the yarn, I chose to pair a strand of wool with a silk-mohair to enhance the color work effect, but any yarn that allows us to achieve the effect we want can be used.

Berenice è una maglia lavorata top-down, con uno scollo stondato e uno sprone caratterizzato dalla lavorazione a più colori con la tecnica stranded, quando si trasportano entrambi i filati lungo tutto il giro. Le due versioni chiare sono realizzata nella taglia M mentre quella marrone nella taglia S. Il bordo del collo può essere personalizzato e reso girocollo in caso lo si voglia, dopo aver ripreso le maglie si prosegue con le istruzioni del collo (caratterizzato da alcune diminuzioni), per poi proseguire con la costa fino ad altezza desiderata. Per quanto riguarda il filato, ho scelto di abbinare una merino a della seta - mohair per facilitare l’effetto della lavorazione a più colori, ma qualsiasi filato che ci permette di ottenere l’effetto che vogliamo può essere scelto.
