This is a pattern for a crochet beret hat made with light worsted weight (category 3) yarn, and a hook size G (4.25mm). The specific yarn that I used is King Cole Riot Double Knitting, 30% wool, 70% premium acrylic, color Water Lily, one skein, 324 yards, 100 grams. Other light worsted weight yarns can be used too.

Size: Adult
Measurements: 10 inches (25 cm) in diameter, 18 inches (46 cm) in circumference (plus stretch). Fits head circumference 21-22 inches (53-56 cm).

The skill level is intermediate. You need to know how to work front post and back post double crochets, as well as front post and back post double crochet decreases.

The pattern is written in English, using the US crochet terminology.

This pattern is my original design and it cannot be redistributed. However, you have the permission to sell finished items made from this pattern.
