Inspired by European birches with their diamond-shaped leaves and drooping branches, this triangular shawl uses twisted stitches on a ground of reverse stockinette to give relief and depth to the leaf motif that flows to the arrowhead lace edging.

Approximately 660 yds/ 603 m of fingering weight yarn or 3 skeins of Loft by Brooklyn Tweed (100% Wool; 275 yds / 251 m per 50 g skein)

If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain accurate gauge

Gauge
18 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch
While gauge is not important as the fit si not crucial, changes in gauge will result in size differences and the amount of yarn needed to complete the project
