DESCRIPTION

I love tea, especially black tea and herbal tea. Earl Grey tea is flavored with the oil from the peel of the Bergamot Orange. Bergamot starts from a purple flower that is incredibly textured and very beautiful, and perfect for the inspiration for a doily design.

Although the Bergamot doily I made is in off-white, it would look great in any light solid thread color.

NOTES

This pattern is available in American English and Russian crochet terminology.

The pattern consists of 27 rounds. Bergamot is considered an advanced level pattern, with the use of front and back post stitches, chainless crochet stitches (CSDC and CSTC), splits, special clusters, special popcorns, picots, special decreases, and Irish-Style magic loop.
