The defining characteristics of Berklee are versatility and femininity. Construction begins working a garter stitch band side to side for a simple, yet qualified alternative to a common ribbed band. Stitches for the crown are then picked up and knit side to side, and finally in the round for a combination of bow, keyhole and lace that is utterly ladylike. The adjustable band and bow fit most sizes (and ‘dos!), while the light weight yarn and lace pattern make Berklee perfect for any time of the year.

Hint: When picking up stitches for the crown, start at the marker and count back 61 stitches to find your starting point.

A special thanks to Beth02116, Lousquared, and Pamknits, my sweet friends and test knitters.
