This a written PDF pattern to make Bernie the Birthday Elephant amigurumi. He is the first pattern of four designs included in my new “Festive Animals” Collection.

Bernie is having a birthday! He is the perfect companion for your little one to have the happiest of birthdays, and the happiest of any celebration for that matter… Bernie loves celebrating important family occasions, so count him IN!

With really easy-to-follow instructions, this pattern is suitable for crocheters of all skill levels. If you have basic crochet knowledge, such as increase, decrease and single crochet, you are set :) It also includes pictures of what each individual piece should look like as well as detailed instructions for the assembly, and you can find a brief BLO tutorial with pictures inside, just in case you have any doubts with that one ;)

Each piece is worked in spiral, so no need to slip stitch at the end of each round.

It is available in English and Spanish.

Bernie measures approximately 30 cms/ 11.8” tall standing up, if using a 2.00 crochet hook and 100% cotton yarn. I used Sole yarn, but feel free to use what you love most, given final size may variate due to this.

To make Bernie you will need approximately 150 grams (5.3 oz) of yarn.

I decided not to include the pattern for the pinata, candy and bunting seen in the picture because they are meant as decoration…Bernie is the real star of the show, so the pattern includes instructions to make him and his birthday hat.

Use the colors of your liking! Although I have detailed the type of yarn and colours I decided to use.

Este es un patrón PDF para hacer al elefante Bernie, el primero de mi colección de cuatro patrones incluidos en mi nueva colección: “Animales Celebrando”.
Bernie esta celebrando un cumpleaños! Es el acompañante ideal para que tu pequeño tenga la celebración mas feliz de todas, ya sea de cumpleaños o cualquier otro motivo; Bernie siempre está contento de celebrar, asique anótalo en la lista de invitados!

Con instrucciones muy sencillas, este patrón es apto para todos los crocheteros, independiente de tu nivel de conocimientos! Si conoces el punto bajo, aumentos y disminuciones, podrás hacer este diseño :) El patrón además incluye fotos de cómo debe ser cada pieza terminada e indicaciones detalladas para el armado final, además de un breve tutorial de cómo tejer en “BLO”, con fotos para ejemplificar, solo en caso que tengas dudas con eso ;)
Cada pieza se teje en espiral, asique no es necesario hacer punto enano al final de cada ronda.

Bernie mide aproximadamente 30 cms de pie, si usas un crochet de 2.00 mm e hilo 100% algodón. Yo usé hilo marca Sole, pero usa lo que tu prefieras, teniendo en cuenta que el tamaño final variará según tu elección de material. Necesitarás aproximadamente 150 gramos de hilo para tejer a Bernie.

He decidido incluir en este patrón las instrucciones para hacer el elefante y su gorrita de cumpleaños. El patrón no incluye instrucciones para hacer la piñata ni la guirnalda o los dulces, ya que éstos son solo elementos de decoración y Bernie es la verdadera estrella!
