This pillow can be made several ways; please follow the appropriate instructions.

There are two main methods: 2 panels, or worked in the round.

Make two flat panels with your chosen designs and stitch them together at the end. This is the method I used in the example shown; I used fairisle for the patterned side and duplicate stitch for Bernie.

Work in the round, create “fake” side seams, with “Patterned Side” on both sides of the pillow. This method is best if you are adjusting the size of the pillow. You can work the fairisle design as you go, or knit the whole thing in one colour and add the design after using duplicate stitch.

Sample shown was made using two flat panels, fairisle for the “Patterned Side” and duplicate stitch for the “Bernie Side”

Full colour charts with a legend are included.

This pattern uses simple crochet stitches for the border/assembly: Ch, sc, and slst.

If you would like to add a zipper there are directions included.
