This sweater is very simply constructed from 4 rectangles - 2 on the front and 2 on the back. The top rectangles are knit first side to side, with a simple lace pattern added for interest. The bottom 2 rectangles are picked up from the long edge of the top rectangles and knit down to the length you want. I have provided instructions for changing the size and re-figuring the yardage needed. It’s a great pattern for adding stitchwork since no increasing or decreasing changes the number of cast on stitches. The neck requires no finishing. Sew a couple of side seams (or knit in the round from below the armholes) and you’ll have it done in no time. I used 4 skeins of the Linus, which makes a very gauzy lightweight top.
