Berry Vanilla is a richly textured crescent shawl, cast on at the middle and worked outwards in rapidly increasing rows to create a generously sized shawl that is easy and versatile to wear. The ruffled border adds a feminine touch at the end without being overly fussy. Don’t be scared off by those cables, they are very easy and intuitive to work once you get into the rhythm of it, though I do recommend learning to cable without a needle.

This shawl is designed to take advantage of the full gradient , but will also work beautifully with any other solid yarn. Heavily variegated yarns are not recommended as the texture and colours may compete.
