Bertha is a classic raglan sweater, featuring a fun and easy-to-memorise Bubble stitch pattern with 3D effect. It’s knitted flat from the bottom edge upward to the neck in four pieces for the ultimate fit: a back, a front and then two identical sleeves. Pieces are seamed together at the end, then stitches are picked up for the generous doubled, ribbed turtleneck.
Using Aran-weight yarn means this sweater will knit up really quick to keep you warm.
The carefully-planned selvedge stitches throughout the garment and video tutorials about seaming make the assembly of the pieces easy.
