A warm hooded cardie for the fall, with lots of options! Choose a seed stitch/Icord border or a cute little cable to go up the fronts and around the hood, then choose ribbing or seed stitch for the cuffs and hem. Pockets or not? Up to you! Finally, choose between a zipped and button closure, and a hood or a cute ribbed collar.

There is about 2.5” (4cm) of positive ease.

The back and front are worked separately and seamed at the shoulders, then stitches are picked up for the sleeves, using short rows to shape the sleeve cap. Then the sleeve and side seams are sewn. The hood is picked up from around the neck and finished with a 3-needle bindoff.

Flat or circular needles will work for the body, but a circular needle works best for the sleeves and hood.
