It can be cooler on Spring mornings, so I made Bertie Bunkins a little jacket to keep him warm whilst he is busy hiding our eggs.

Using simple techniques, you can complete Bertie Bunkins in his sweet cardi and give a treasured little one the cuddliest Easter treat ever!

IN THE PATTERN: The pattern has row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 8 pages and written in English.

TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, sew seams, and embroider the features.

  • A pair of straight 3.25mm knitting needles (US 3)
  • 4 ply yarn; less than 50g per colour
  • Toy filling
