US H-8 (5.00 mm) crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Pattern is designed to allow the crocheter to use a standard crochet hook; a special Tunisian crochet hook in not necessary.

Gauge: 18 tss for 20 rows = 4” / 10 cm (exact gauge is not essential)
After blocking, each ribbon measures 1” (2.5 cm) x 84” (213.5 cm)

Notes: Scarf consists of five “ribbons” or strips. The First Ribbon is made then each subsequent Ribbon is joined in a modular, or join as-you-go, fashion. At end of each row, the work is turned to start the new Ribbon.
