Now in a fingering weight version! This pattern was inspired by my Abrazo Shawl. If we have abrazos, we should have besos too! Abrazo means hug in Spanish and besos means kisses in Spanish. I thought it would be super cute to come up with a stitch that criss crosses itself like a ‘x’ which we use all the time for x’s and o’s: kisses and hugs! So, the KISS stitch was born! Every time I make that stitch, as I turn the cable needle, I think to myself “muah!” Diamonds are in there too!! Since they are a girl’s best friend and tend to go along with hugs and kisses - we have our beautiful shawl full of love!
