Bet You Thought It Was Knit Earwarmer
Materials:
• Approximately 100g of worsted weight acrylic yarn
• 5.0 mm (H-8) crochet hook for adult size
• 4.00 mm (G-6) crochet hook for children’s size
• Yarn needle for weaving in ends
• Button
Gauge: 16 stitches and 12 rows in hdc worked
Across the back with 5.00 mm hook = 4” (10 cm)
Measure your gauge on the back of your work
Abbreviations:
ch = chain hdc = half double crochet
st(s) = stitch (es) sl st = slip stitch
Finished Measurements = about 22” long and 3 ¼ inches wide
Finished Measurements using 4.00 hook = about 18” long and 3” wide
Make sure you are using a standard worsted weight yarn. Caron Simply Soft or other similar yarns will be too thin and make your work smaller than you want.
