Beth, the gentle peacemaker.

She simultaneously embodies quiet kindness and steadfast strength.

While she prefers to spend time at home around family, she is always working to help others and bring happiness to those less fortunate.

Her piano playing fills the house with joy and gives comfort to the family while they navigate hard times.

Her strength and beauty are tranquil.

Her gentle nature is symbolized by animals, flowers, and leaves: the birds for her musical talent, the rabbits for her soft, shy demeanor, and the kittens that kept her company at home.

Gauge

CONSTRUCTION
The Beth March Mittens are worked from the cuff to the fingertips. The cuffs begin with a provisional CO and the picot edge. The CO sts are moved to the spare needles, the CO edge is folded inside the rnd and up to meet the working rnd of sts on your main needle. The CO sts and the working sts are knit together to complete the picot edge. Next, a right leaning Latvian braid is worked, followed by the Cuff colorwork chart, and a left leaning Latvian braid. The hand colorwork is knit according to either the Left or Right Hand chart. The thumb sts are placed on hold via the afterthought thumb method while the hand is worked. When the hand is complete, the thumb sts are picked up, the waste yarn removed, and the thumb worked according to the Thumb chart.
