Summer has slipped away, but it’s not gone forever. Hold on to the summer of love with this bohemian inspired shawl, named after the place it all happened, Bethel, New York.
This shawl is my perfect shawl. One I’ve always wanted. Simple yet interesting, large and wrappable, and a whole lot of fringe. It’s perfect to wear anywhere! (Especially at a 1969 music festival, or riding around in a vintage VW bus down Haight street.) Go ahead, give it a twirl.
Yarn: 3 skeins Plucky Knitter Beauregard dk. Shown in color Breakfast on 5th.
Needles: US 7 (4.5mm)
Gauge: 4 stitches per inch in garter, blocked.
Notions: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, crochet hook
Finished size: 88” across, 40” deep
