• stocking is worked from the toe tip to the top of the stocking … all in the round wth worsted-weight yarn
• hanger loop is worked as i-cord after you’ve bound-off the top of the stocking
• heel is worked as an “after-thought” heel with sts grafted together after a certain number of decreases
• the different sections of the stocking are charted and written out
• Abbreviations used:
o grey stitch : No stitch.
o K or k : Knit.
o m1 l : Make 1 knitwise (left leaning).
o m1 r : Make 1 knitwise (right leaning).
o P or p : Purl.
o yo : yarn over needle
o 2/2 LC : Slip next 2 stitches to cable needle and place at front of work, k2, then k2 from cable needle.
