Nothing shows off the simple beauty of a knit-purl texture like a dishcloth does. That said, why not expand the possibilities: cast on double the number of stitches (81, to be exact) and knit for
10” (25cm) for placemats. Or cast on the number given for the dishcloth, and knit the length of your table for a runner. The possibilities are endless.
