The top is worked from the top down. You start by working the neckline shaping on each side of the front piece separately, before joining the pieces and finishing the front piece. Stitches are cast on for the back piece and the body is worked in the round before an i-cord bind-off. Stitches are picked up for an i-cord edge along the top of the body. Finally, the straps are worked as an i-cord and sewn to the back piece.
